- You or businesses in your community collect postal codes during transactions
- You provide the postal codes to us confidentially
- We input them into Environics Analytics data platform to provide you:
- Your Customer Geographic Origins by province and top cities
- Your customer profiles: demographics, psychographic information, activity interests, media habits, vacation spend and more.
- Your top PRIZM Market Segments & Explorer Quotient Traveller Profiles: Summaries and Detailed Profiles with Top Cities to target for growing new markets

Project Example: We worked with Northern Rockies Lodge to understand their current customer profiles, provide insights into their top markets, understanding of their interests and where others like them live. We also looked at the top segments and corresponding locations of people that are interested in fishing and had a top social value of “attraction to nature” in order to find potential growth markets.

Sector Reports by Activity
The BCRTS program is also providing research by sector: Skiing, Arts & Culture, Canoeing & Kayaking, etc. to be made available in 2021. Custom sector research is also available on request.
We recently created an Art Enthusiast profile for Vancouver Island North Tourism to use for their recovery strategy. Variables are selected according to alignment with the sector of choice and target groups are created. In this case, the resulting target groups and full profiles identified were: Artsy Millennials, Creative Couples, Wealthy & Creative Families, and Backcountry.
